Sleep Powefully Affects Learning
Many children in schools today are not getting enough sleep. Lack of sleep severely affects health, happiness and school performance. The best teachers, in the best schools with all the latest and greatest resources can do little to overcome the negative effects of not getting enough sleep. Children with insufficient sleep are at risk of poor concentration, short-term memory, inconsistent performance, behavior problems and moodiness.
