Marcella presents Literacy Workshops for Classroom Teachers, Parent Groups, Teacher's Aides, Classroom Helpers, Speech Pathologists, Reading Recovery Teachers, Curriculum Coordinators, Special Education Teachers and Student Teachers.These exciting, hands-on workshops are based on current research and give participants strategies that can be immediately applied in the classroom.
Workshop participants will be inspired, affirmed and motivated to enhance the literacy development of every child.

The Magic Words Literacy Workshop is designed to provide teachers with unique tools and strategies to enhance the literacy achievement of all students. Through the first hand experience of explicit teaching techniques participants will master strategies that can be immediately applied in their classrooms to rapidly improve word knowledge, increase fluency and develop comprehension skills.
Participants will experience a range of high value literacy activities including:
* exploring the most efficient strategies to rapidly enhance reading;
*investigating effective ways to increase fluency;
*discovering how automaticity and comprehension are critically linked; and
*considering the most successful literacy activities to use and knowing why they work.
